Fantastic getaway for a quick refill of the energy we needed. The views are enough to draw you back, but it really is our gracious host and hostess that makes this stay so incredibly stress free. As we drove through Blowing Rock we were a little discouraged that with everything going on up here this weekend that would not find a place to stay. We were driving along and we said "Lord help us find the right place" and that’s just what He did. The Lodge is absolutely beautiful, the breakfast and desserts were wonderful and getting to know you folks was great! We have had a wonderful time and will certainly be back. It was definitely not a coincidence that we decided on a last moment side trip to the area and were steered to your gorgeous place. This was the best vacation ever and I really hate to leave, but I know we will be back. The best breakfast ever! Loved this room, it was so cozy and the bed was so comfortable. We called on short notice to get a place to stay in the mountains and luck was with us. An opening had occurred here at Mountainside. Little did we know we had found a little corner of paradise!
